We are starting to compile this separate Cycling section, to which we’ll be adding different routes as time goes on.
For the cyclist, there are many different routes to choose from - in the Gwaun Valley, to the many unspoilt coves and the Preseli Hills. You can reach these by car, or there are the Coastal Bus Service (for details of services, please visit www.gobybus.net ) and the Green Dragon Bus Service inland & over the Preselis (link to Green Dragon http://www.prta.co.uk ).These bus services are especially designed with walkers and cyclists in mind. Pembrokeshire Coastal Buses are local bus services (in the Fishguard area there is the Strumble Shuttle). These travel along the entire length of the National Park coastline(186 miles) to help you access walks, beaches, boat trips, local villages and attractions. For bus timetables in the Fishguard area, please contact Richards Bros on www.gobybus.net . It’s well worth visiting the Pembrokeshire Greenways website (www.pembrokeshiregreenways.co.uk) which has been developed by Pembrokeshire County Council and has a great deal of information for walkers and cyclists. Visit Fishguard for a cycling holiday!
